One of our students in our Google AdWords course asked us a question on Website Auditor so I created a video answer. Here are the details of how to create a custom Website Auditor Report.

When you install WebSite Auditor on your computer (it can be any of the software of Link Assistant) you will find that some reports are missing “the good old ones”. I personally only work with the older ones. Here are the steps involved to getting them back up and running:

1. Go to this link and download the report you want to add into the the tool (just follow the video instructions its really simple).

2. Open WebSite Auditor and select in the menu options: Preferences -> Report Templates … -> Page Content Reports

In our case, our student wanted to update one of the templates in the Page Content Reports. In your case it might be another Report so review your options.

3. Click on “Add Blank”

4. Now select -> Black Report -> Click on “EDIT”

You will now be in the editing mode of the report you can give it a name. Grab the file you downloaded in step 1 and paste its content into this area (only use a simple text reader such as NotePad on a PC or Sublime Text/Smultron on a Mac)

5. Click on Next (a few times) and you got a New Report 🙂

I hope this helped. If it did please feel free to share your love in the Facebook comments below [I rarely monitor them – if you need something email me].
